An offset calculation unit calculates, as an offset, a difference between a reference value that is any of the positions at which the plurality of images are captured and each of the positions to associate the offset with the image whose position is acquired. A metadata generation unit generates, as moving image metadata that accompanies the moving image, metadata containing the reference value and generates, as image metadata that accompanies the image corresponding to the offset, metadata containing the offset, for each of the acquired positions.
