The method includes: determining whether the device is connected to a designated wireless network; and when the device is connected to the designated wireless network, sending to a server a binding request for binding a user account with the device. The binding request carries the user account and is configured to trigger the server to start a binding process within a preset time period. The server establishes a binding relationship between the user account and the device when the server receives a binding confirmation message sent by the device within the preset time period.
