The transceiver device includes a control module configured to control a transmission of a modulated light transmit signal by the time of flight circuit to an access control device. The modulated light transmit signal includes information related to a transmission access request. The control module is further configured to control an establishment of a wireless transmission channel based on a modulated light receive signal received by the time of flight circuit from the access control device. The modulated light receive signal includes information for establishing the wireless transmission channel.
