The at least one memory stores program instructions that, when executed by the at least one processing unit, cause the apparatus to control a first set of pixels of an image sensor for exposure of a scene for a camera viewfinder, the image sensor having at least two sets of pixels enabling different exposure times, and control a second set of pixels of the image sensor for exposure analysis of the scene for images to be captured for a multi-exposure image.
